I both agree and disagree with this. First, people don’t usually attempt or commit suicide because they want to make people feel guilty or hurt people. They do it because they’re hurting very deeply and they want that feeling to go away. That being said, some people actually do want to make people feel guilty for mistreating them and they do this through suicide. They might think “well my mom/dad/friends/boyfriend will finally notice me when I’m gone. They’ll be sorry” or “They’ll see what it’s like without me, they’ll miss me when I’m gone and they’ll wish they had treated me better.” It happens both ways. 

I think that how Quinn said it was terrible and I don’t like how single-minded she was. Suicide happens in both mindsets either separately or together.
